NIXOn's work has been featured in XXL MAG [Freshman Jun-Oct 2016]--a nationwide hiphop magazine, SYFY, COMEDY CENTRAL, FX, MTV, SPIKE, VH1 and TrueTV [SYFY during The Strain and on COMEDY CENTRAL during the Walking Dead Premiere late 2015 and also Oct 2016] his casting photos helped lead to walk-on roles in Ghostbusters 2016, The Get Down 2016, a Netflix Original Series, and also, a top 10 agency RED male model successfully casted as backup dancer, for singer Rihanna at the MTV Video Music Awards 2016. Nixon Photographer subcontracted as rental studio and light designer for music videographer WhiteApeFilms from September 2014-September 2016, collaborating with rappers throughout the Springfield, Hartford area, helping create such video works as Small City, Blue Hunnitz, Blurry Vizzion, and breakout music video Dunk On Yo B*&^% by rapper don zio p who was signed to Republic records thereafter [the weeknd, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande et. al.]. From June 2016 through Jan 2017, Nixon Photographer has subcontracted for TNTVisions, a photographer agency serving nightclubs throughout the Springfield, MA and Hartford, CT area. Nixon was tasked with providing event photography at ZoneFridays for Bomba Radio's DJ Frank Nitty and DJ MG, and Hot 93.7's biggest and best, DJ Craig G and Jenny Boom Boom, as well as ZoneSaturday's Hot 93.7's "Party Animals".
Nixon studied at Maine Media College with world famous motion picture, celebrity photographer Douglas Kirkland, [“2001 A Space Odyssey”, “Out of Africa”, “Titanic”, “Moulin Rouge” and “Australia” starring Nicole Kidman] and also world-renowned fine art photographer and author Joyce Tenneson, [over 150 exhibitions worldwide, as well as published in Life, Premiere, Esquire, The New York Times Magazine, Entertainment Weekly and Newsweek].
